Kosmo! Varsiti Futsal & Freestyle Fever

Yesterday i participated in the Kosmo! Varsiti Futsal held in UKM Bangi.

Not really my best day on the court and my team crashed out of the group stage after winning, drawing and losing 1 match respectively. The interesting part is that all 4 teams in the group finished with 4 points, and the goal difference for all the 4 teams are the same!=) However,due to the low scoring rate of my team (scoring only 1 goal in 3 matches) we missed the chance to qualify for the next stage.

But there is also great news. At 12 noon that day, a football freestyle competition called the Feverstyle Fever took place and i joined the competition to get the free bag, water bottle and t-shirt test my freestyle skill. At the scene was Dr Freestyler, Hafiz Suhaimi and he performed some magnificent tricks. Really good,i mean i have never seen someone free-styling so good with my own eyes.

So back to the part after i joined the competition. There were a total of 10 contestants and each of us was given a ball to play around with and let us get familiar with the ball. Then, we were required to perform any tricks or whatever you want in 1 minute. I tried some tricks i learned and some of them went quite well and some of them dont. But still i would give myself 70% for my first performance in the public.

The Dr Freestyler would then judge our performance and choose 5 contestant to go into the grand final at 25th October. And…im one of the 5 contestant that went in!=) Well,that somehow compensated some of the sadness of our team crashing out of the futsal competition and i felt quite happy as i have never been into any finals in any competition.Guess my luck’s changed!=)

Well.the final is still 2 months away and i think i would really need some serious practice to make sure that i can have a shot at winning the first prize,which is RM2000.Whoa, that is a good sum of money and imagine what i can buy with it…oh yeah…emm,better stop dreaming and start training.Wish me good luck!=)

Movie Review: G.I. Joe : The Rise Of Cobra

Watched G.I. Joe yesterday.

 

No.When is says the evil looks good it doesnt really mean the freak scientist on the right

Actually it is quite a good movie,especially if you are those who love explosion and action sequences.The movie didnt let audience down on that part,but if you really care about the story and character development,then you will surely feel disappointed.

The story starts with the American army is assigned to deliver the nanomite missile,then the bad guys show up and try to take away the missiles.After a series of fight,the American army is down to only 2 soldiers,then they go on and join the G.I. Joe and then the story revolves around the missile (that means the bad guys try to take it,then successfully took it and the good guys fight back,familiar,right?=) before finally the good guys win and the world is in peace again..but surely not for long cause one of the bad guys has disguised himself as the president of America.Well,sequel(s) is surely inevitable.

The problem with this movie is that the male protagonist doesnt look like he is strong enough. For me he is just a guy from the team and really doesnt shine in any particular way. This is kind of a let down and i think the producer should find another actor to play the role because he..er..is not man enough.Yes,he is a very muscular man but he havent got the superstar feel in him,making me feel like watching a B grade movie.But the movie compensates with lots,and i mean really a lot of action sequences and it is really fun watching so many things explode on the screen.No,im not a terrorist.=)

Final verdict:7.0

A movie that is fun and very entertaining to watch if you can ignore the lousy seen-it-before story.

Today i went to training football with my college team and it turned out quite well.The last few training matches with them showed that i have recently lost my touches and my pace was getting really slow.So,i went to the training today hoping to improve at least a bit and to my surprise,i played really well today.I had two shots against the other team,one of them flew high over the bar and the other one hit the keeper,but i think i did quite well to be able to have two shots today,as i played as winger.One assist completed my match and i felt really good after the game.Hope i can maintain the current form because im going to participate in a futsal tournament this sunday.Wish me goodluck!

Some people is just annoying

Some people is just annoying.

Yeah,someone just pissed me off and i would really like to knock the person in the head,if the person allows.Sometimes i wonder why the heck in the world there will always be some idiot that tends to do things that annoy others.They thought that they are being nice to you,but HELL NOOOOOO!!You really pissed me off!!Just fuck off willya!!!!Really CCB.Shit.

Manchester United in Malaysia

3 weeks ago i went to watch the game between Manchester United and Malaysia XI.

At first i didn’t expect the Malaysia XI would give MU any contest at all,because last time they came we were blasted 6 goals by them.Yes.So honestly i thought that this would be a one-sided show and we are going to get our ass kicked real hard,again.

However,it turned out that our team really gave all their best and even score 2 goals against MU.HELLYA!!The stadium almost crumbled when our team scored the 2 goals and i screamed so hard so tat the girl next to me will notice me to show my support for the Malaysian team.

But in the end Micheal Owen managed to regain the lead for MU and the final score was MU 3-2 Malaysia XI.A really great game i would say and our boys really showed some improvement.Hope they learned a lot from the much stronger side from this match.

Looking forward for Real Madrid to come to Malaysia,although the possibility is very very very very very,or should i say virtually non-existant.Nevermind,1 day i will earn enough money to fly to Madrid and watch them in action at Bernabeu.Hala Madrid!!
